On June 14th, Rev. Gwen offered the message based on Matthew 9:35-10:8. This is the story of the disciples who are sent out by Jesus to declare that the kingdom of God is near. We are sent also to share the good news of Jesus to all those that we encounter along the way.
On June 7th, Pastor Larry offered the message from Matthew 9:9-13, 18-26. The passage tells us the story of the calling of Matthew and the story of the ruler whose daughter Jesus raised from the dead. The passage also tells us about the story of the woman who was bleeding for 12 years who was healed by Jesus when she touched his robe. All three stories are about people who stepped out into the unknown not knowing what was next.…
On May 31st, which is Trinity Sunday, Pastor Larry spoke about the call that we each have to make disciples of Jesus Christ as seen in Matthew 28:16-20.
